Bullae Found by Temple Mount Sifting Project

Tantalising, via ANE-2:

Gabi Barkai found a fragmentary personal bulla during the sifting project of the Temple Mount dump. Recently he found a second bulla, this time a fiscal one with the name of a biblical town, to be presented at the Bar Ilan University conference at the end of December.

Something really to look forward to…

The Temple Mount Sifting Project is really doing a great job. For more, they have a blog that you can visit here.

Archbishop Hepworth: 6 Months is a Long Time

  • There was no (unanimously) passed call in a meeting of the Anglican Church in America for Archbishop John Hepworth to resign  on the grounds he was not representing the desires of his global flock.
  • There was no naming by independent senator Nick Xenophon.
  • There was no Monsignor Ian Dempsey having to deny the sick, graphic details as splayed in the public by our Archbishop.
  • There was no common knowledge of the misappropriation of $1200 of Church funds by our Archbishop.
  • There was no clandestine canvassing by the Chairwoman of the Professional Standards Board.
  • There was no bashing of Bishops in the secular media.
  • There was no promise by the Archbishop to resign at Pentecost.
  • There was no  TAC House of Bishops call for the Archbishop’s immediate removal.

None of it!

Just how naive and gullible can people be? It is an emergency situation! A lot can happen in 6 months and believe you me (and this is just me being prophetic), a lot will!
