India: 7-year-old Girl Child Sacrificed, Liver Offered to gods

Appalling! Pure evil.

(AP) — Two men have been arrested in central India for allegedly killing a 7-year-old girl and cutting out her liver in a ritual sacrifice to ensure a better harvest, police said Monday.

Lalita Tati disappeared in October and her dismembered remains were found a week later, Rajendra Narayan Das, a senior police officer in the Bijapur district of Chhattisgarh state, told The Associated Press.

Police arrested two men, both poor farmers, last week and they told police they killed the girl to appease their gods and get a better harvest, Das said.

Tati was walking home after watching television at a neighbor’s house when she was kidnapped, Das said. The two men confessed to cutting her open and removing her liver as an offering.

Das said the police had gathered enough evidence, apart from the confessions, to charge the two with murder. They would face life in prison or even the death sentence if convicted.

The men were described as “tribals,” a term referring to the region’s indigenous people, most of whom remain mired in poverty and illiteracy.

Human sacrifices are rare in India but get prominent attention every few years. A deep belief in traditional healers, or witch doctors, is common in mostly tribal Chhattisgarh.

Reading what is written below, all I can say is: Thank God that the faithful in America have this! And they are now indeed without excuse.

As I have written in recent articles, Katharine Jefferts Schori has exposed her non-Christian theology in her recent book The Heartbeat of God (Skylight Paths Publishing, 2011). Throughout her disorganized writing, she attacks most of Western society while offering bizarre Biblical interpretations. Her endless criticism of others includes attacks on the Archbishop of Canterbury Rowan Williams, as well as other unnamed bishops and archbishops…

Throughout The Heartbeat of God, Jefferts Schori makes other sweeping negative pronouncements about American society and Western life…

Indeed, Jefferts Schori expresses great contempt for the United States. She writes about “our nation’s addiction to oil, uninhibited growth, and consumerism, as well as old-fashioned greed and what the Christian tradition calls hubris and idolatry.” (95-96)

Now that she has taunted most of American society, who are left to join the empty Episcopal parishes? Her disdainful scorn would make most reluctant to even approach an Episcopal Church.

Her vicious attack on the United States destroys her ability to serve as the primary leader in the Episcopal Church. Her verbal attacks on Western society raises questions about what kind of god she is worshipping.

Jefferts Schori’s Biblical Interpretations

In her book The Heartbeat of God, Jefferts Schori also taunts Jesus many times, calling him both a Hell’s Angel gang leader (115) as well as a “party animal” (4).

Jefferts Schori believes this: Jesus is one of the prophets who pointed out a few things and is not the only begotten Son. The Quran also states this, saying directly that Jesus is a prophet and that no human being has ever been begotten (part of God without a beginning or end.) In contradistinction to this, Christians believe that Jesus came bringing the very power of God the Father within his soul and because of that, evil and death were conquered. Christ changed the status of humanity forever and Christ will come again.

Indeed, Jefferts Schori uses the inappropriate sexual image of seduction to describe the relationship of God with humanity. She writes that people are “lured into relationship with love.” (117)

Also, Jefferts Schori describes the Jewish Naomi as a criminal sexual predator working as a pimp stalking Boaz and Ruth as the prostitute. Jefferts Schori writes that Naomi told Ruth “to hightail it over there and ‘uncover his feet’-another euphemism-and to lie down beside him.” (30) Jefferts Schori writes a violent description of these highly esteemed Biblical characters, saying that “today’s equivalents of Ruth and Naomi . . . [are] your women who are being trafficked or groomed for exploitation.” (33) For Jefferts Schori, God pushed Ruth and Naomi into the sexual trade without hope of a different life. That surely sounds like a vicious, cruel god.

Jefferts Schori laughs at the destruction of Sodom and Gomorrah during which Lot and his entire family were threatened with violence in order to save the visiting angels. Jefferts Schori writes about the annihilation of Lot’s wife as she was “being entombed in salt” “who hesitates as they flee from Sodom, which God aims to destroy for its abysmal lack of hospitality (Genesis 19:20-26)” (60) To use Jefferts Schori’s words, “its abysmal lack of hospitality”? Jefferts Schori obliterates the traditional interpretation here of the destruction of Sodom because of its sexual and violent sins…

Jefferts Schori has expressed corrupt images for the divine throughout her time as presiding bishop…

In her first sermon as presiding bishop Jefferts Schori says people are (in her own words) “seized” and “thrown” by god.

She has helped seize many church buildings away from worshipping Anglican communities with whom she disagrees.

She has helped throw many decent and eloquent priests out of the ordained ministry.

She has jolted many with her heretical interpretations of the Bible, including her Islamic theology that we are all beloved with the same ontological status of Jesus. Her image of Jesus as a violent gang member and party animal has done damage to the entire Anglican Communion through her new humiliating spin on the Savior of the human race…

Jefferts Schori now presides over the destruction of many suffering Anglican churches. She destroys these parishes because she sees them as a competitor and she accomplishes this destruction without any public acknowledgement of the intense pain for which she is responsible…

Under her leadership, Christian truths are disappearing. The Episcopal Church is being rapidly destroyed…

‘Gibeon, for the King’ Bulla

Ordinariate in the USA to Include Canada

While the Vatican’s announcement of the launch of the US’ Anglican Ordinariate of the Chair of St Peter takes top line today, a key codicil of the news has freshly presented itself.

Over recent weeks, reports from Canada have indicated that the country’s number of Anglican entrants “do not warrant” the establishment of a separate national jurisdiction.

Accordingly, while a New Year’s Day letter from Bishop Douglas Crosby of Hamilton obtained by Whispers notes the Ontario diocese’s reception today of a “small group” of former Anglicans into full Catholic communion, the text goes on to say that, “in due time,” the received group will “become part of the Personal Ordinariate that is being erected in the United States.”
In other words, the Chair won’t end at the 49th Parallel.

 

Archaeological Discoveries at Tal Hasaka

Hasaka, Northeastern Syria- Syrian archeological expedition, that was working at the site of Tal Hasaka in Northeastern Syria, unearthed during its fourth excavation season a church and a cemetery dating back to Christianity Era.

Head of the expedition Abdul-Masih Baghdo said the church is 22.50 m long and 14.50 m wide, located to the south of a cathedral which was discovered during the past three seasons. The church was built with basalt stones, with its walls painted with gypsum.

Baghdo pointed out that the church can be entered from the southern part of Tal Hasaka through an entrance leading to a lobby, adding that the first part of the church can be accessed through 3 entrances, 1 m wide each.

“The first part includes a 8.60 m long and 12.90 m wide temple, separated from a lobby with two 1.10-m-diameter basalt columns,” he went on saying.

Baghdo continued that “Next to the church’s northern wall there is a chair made of basalt stones and bricks pained with gypsum, believed to belong to an important religious figure.”

A seat for a lower ranking clergyman, he added, was found to the south of the southern wall, and to its west, a number of seats were unearthed.

Baghdo also noted that in the middle of the eastern side of the temple was the second part of the church, which is the sanctum sanctorum, 5.10 m long and 2.10 m wide, pointing out that the entrance façade is decorated with two semi-circular stone columns.

In the northern side of the cathedral, he added, an 18 m long 8 m wide cemetery was found with its ground pained with gypsum. It includes 3 temples decorated with semi-circular columns and 18 tombs.

He added that the cemetery is part of the religious compound earlier discovered in Tal Hasaka.
