And my Wish List…
Looks good..but nearly as many altar servers as laity. That really proved it for me, when I saw eastward celebration, the ordinariate in England, with an artificial Cranmerised liturgy will be a 1920s Anglo-Catholic theme park. It will never win the Church of England or the nation for that matter.
I just read that certain authors are editing and sexing up Jane Austen and Charlotte Bronte novels . That is similar to what the Ordinaraite are doing to teh BCP and prayer book, removing the author’s original intentions…in this case Protestantism.
You know, I’ve heard of atheists describe the Church of the Holy Sepulcher or even St. Peter’s Basilica as being “theme parks” for Catholics. I really never understood what they meant by this.
