About Fr Stephen SmutsTAC Priest in South Africa.
The dignity of human life does not depend upon the circumstance of one’s birth.
Or the circumstances of one’s conception.
And this ethics of life must be consistent from conception until death.
This message is right to the point for those who are in favor of abortion if the conception is due to the rape of the mother. The unborn baby is innocent of anything and everything and does not deserve to die because being pregnant reminds the mother of the rape. I hope that we can get every state and finally the federal government to pass legislation that states that the unborn baby is a “person” from the time of conception.
This would nullify Roe vs Wade and grant every human from the time of conception every right that is granted every “person” in the Constitution.
And then there’s the falsely compassionate (or disingenuous) crowd that says “It is cruel to bring a child to into the world only to have a miserable, impoverished life!” as if they know what misery and poverty is. As if they cared.
