The news that after only 2 years of existence, the English ordinarate has already 4 homegrown seminarians (the first alluded to is studying at Wonersh seminary, if I recall well, and the 3 other starting to train this year will be doing so with the Dominican Friars) and 2 candidates for the permanent diaconate is very encouraging. We have already seen 2 Ordinariate Priests ordained who had not been Anglican Priests (only deacons), the next step is to have Priests with no past pastoral ministry whatsoever in the Church of England, and the next to have Priests baptised and raised as ordinariate Catholics (in probably about 30 years).
+ PAX et BONUM
You will be waiting a long tiome , as ther curerent age structure of the English ordinariate, doesn’t hold out for many in the congregations in 30 years , let alone births. My diocese has slightly more deaths than baptisms, and the ordinariate more ordinations than christenings.
