Not one American reply? Strange!
I shall never forget the sense of devastation that beset the US the evening on that day!
All flags at half staff, and every person you spoke to knew someone or knew about someone in the Twin Towers on that horrible day!!! We only managed to get back to South Africa on the 14th October, first to Houston, then on to Toronto, thereafter Frankfurt and finally Johannesburg.
Indeed, lest we ever forget!
