It was a lot cheaper. It is smaller and doesn’t have as many apps, but it certainly has all that I would need and hopefully it will be able to use Skype soon as I understand negotiations are underway. But I have a little Bluetooth keyboard with it that makes it into a tiny laptop that I can slip into my purse and use instead of a notebook and pen when I go places. The key thing that is a benefit is that I can synch it up with my phone so I can use my phone’s data plan to go on the internet with it and access satellite when no wireless is available. That is a big plus over the iPad from what I understand. And BlackBerry is better at compressing data so your data usage will be much lower, a good thing when going over your allotted data limit can be so expensive.
It is the devil’s phone! Filled with sorcery and witchcraft!

What can the iPhone do that I can’t with a piece of paper, an abacus (or fingers), and a really loud voice?
Also, less expensive. Paper, abacus/fingers, and loud voice technology don’t get obsolete.
Well, Fr. Smuts, now I have discovered the thing we have in common. The BlackBerry! I love mine and I love my Playbook tablet.
Oh dear… I’m sure there’s a lot more than just that…
I can but dream of a Playbook however. Do you think it is better than an iPad (tablet-wise)?
