Godlessness Fails, Again

Speaking of failure:

Our experiment of godless society has failed. We have tried to run our government by godless policies. We taught our children a godless worldview. Our biggest mistake was subjecting hundreds of millions of people to this failed experiment for so long, without recognizing or correcting its failures.

Worth a read in full in the Christian Post.

  1. Sadly Western society has become a ruin! Can we save it? No, but maybe stave-off the end a wee but longer? Come Lord Jesus!

  2. Ioannes says:

It was better when men did not think too highly of themselves.

It was under control when it was a few kings and princes who drew the ire and hatred of the masses. They are rightly castigated for when they believe themselves to be equal of God, yet when you remove these kings and nobles, what is left are the ordinary, common people, and when each person believe themselves to be equal of God, not only is there no more need for the acknowledgement of God, but we start to hate each other at the same time; a vacuum is filled in the absence of God, a vacuum that will never be filled or satisfied.

The ego will strive to fill this vacuum as the go is the remaining thing left amidst increasingly unreliable friends, surroundings, society, and world. The ego asserts itself as the only thing reliable in an unreliable, Godless universe. A society filled with individuals whose ultimate goal is attaining of their own individual godhood will self-destruct.

Maybe it is in this sense that the meek shall inherit the world.

What does it mean when when the ego strives towards godhood without acknowledging God? It means god-like powers, with no consequences or unfavorable effect, to do as whatever they please, so to live in hedonism as the pagan gods of Greece who live in their Mount Olympus, where Death does not exist.

I cannot fully describe this madness, but it has become so prevalent as to make any dissent against this popular desire of self-idolization and self-deification a sign of mental illness. To try and reason with the madmen who revel in this godlessness is pointless. They have produced for themselves arguments and conditions wherein their ignorance is invincible to god-fearing human beings who mean to instruct the ignorant and preach to the heathens of a God who is the ultimate satisfier of all needs.

We may tolerate this- but considering the dangers they pose, we ought not be adverse to kill when necessary, but to never kill unjustly as to commit murder. There is no shame to fight the barbarians at our doorsteps or within our homes- to speak against this necessary conflict is further proof of the reach of liberalism in the will of men. The beautiful premise of liberalism in that mankind is naturally good and virtuous rather than fallen and in need of Salvation weakens the resolve of a God-fearing man to cultivate the virtues given to him by God or to pray for their reception and to be strengthen by Him through His Grace.

Such a beautiful premise of liberalism regarding the nature of humanity has only led to concentration camps that held “ignoble jews”; to the guillotine with anyone who is the “enemy of the revolution.” to the gulags with “capitalist parasites”, and to the killing fields with anyone who as so much as wore eyeglasses and taught at schools or worked at hospitals as doctors.

There is honor and valor to push back the Hordes of Mongols, the Turk and other sort of Muslims, to push back the hosts of other heathen nations… and most importantly, the atheists who by intellect or by the force of revolution through the mobilization of the angry, ignorant masses, seek to cast down The Lord’s holy places and murder His holy people. They pride themselves on intelligence and reason, and so use what little they have in the most deceitful, cowardly, and dishonest manner.

The ‘Meek shall Inherit the Earth’ – not the “world” – a world of difference! A Treasure-trove worth exploring – what did Jesus really mean? The Gift HE offers us?
Certainly Jesus was ‘Meekness HIMSELF” – the Earth was HIS and the fullness thereof, and yet “…the Son Of Man had no where to lay HIS Head”. The ‘Earth bud forth its Savior’ in a hidden and lowly place, yet a star and kings, angels and shepherds made haste to find HIM; as a pitiable and humble shoot HE came unto HIS own, but HIS own received HIM not; taking lodging and meals as a hostage with sinners, Being ALL to all; entering into Jerusalem on a humble-beast-of-burden with palm branches bowing-low in welcome; “bearing no likeness to men”…he laid HIS Sacred Head upon a Cross; the tomb carved-out a home for HIM and the ‘Earth received its Savior’.
How is our ‘Christian’s Inheritance’ lived-out in all of this?!

      • Ioannes says:

I understand the proper translation of the Beatitudes. from the Greek, which uses the word “Ge” (makarioi oi praeis oti autoi kleronomesousin ten GEN) which refers to the physical “Earth”

But I purposefully used the “The World” (O Kosmos) with the thought of the orderliness that comes at the End of Time, when the Earth, Ge, and Heaven, Ouranou, are made new and are not antithetical to each other, but comprises the new world that will never end.

They shall inherit the Earth, only when the strong and the wise are done killing each other, is what I was saying.
