Our Parish is Christ Church:
Christ Church is a thriving community based Anglican Church in the Traditional Rite. We are situated in Brackenfell, a busy developing town within the Northern suburbs of Cape Town, South Africa.
Our mission is to know Jesus Christ and to make Him known. Sent forth from our celebration of the Eucharist to walk in faith, we seek to serve our Lord while faithfully proclaiming the Good News of the Gospel of salvation, with love and compassion.
Venue: Meetings take place at the Bastion Primary School: 71 Jacaranda Street, Protea Heights, Brackenfell.
Time: Every Sunday @ 09:00am.
Worship is liturgical and centres on the Book of Common Prayer (1954). Sunday school is available.
Pastoral ministry includes: Home Visits, Anointing of the Sick, Confession and Counselling (all by appointment) and Bible Studies. Other social activities as well as a Feeding Scheme to the impoverished are undertaken.
The people of our parish would be most happy to meet with you.
Remember faith is a process and a journey. It is personal and communal. The best way to start is simply that: start.
Rector: The Rev’d Fr Stephen Smuts (BTh, BA Hons)
