What Christmas Carol is This?

with 4 comments

I saw this over at Steve Ray’s Blog:

What Christmas Carol is This?

It is a clever riddle, but see if you can figure it out.

Don’t read the below unless you give up.

  1. It is ‘No(e)L’, perhaps ‘The First No-el’?

  2. Hey, why do you suppose all those atheists are afraid of Christmas?

    They’re Claus-trophobic.

    • Ioannes, I’m sadden how you cheapen St. Nicholas by referring to him as Santa Claus! Thought you were such an uber-traditionalist? [Good to see you have a sense of humor, even if it is bad punning. ;) ]

The good Bishop of Myra really doesn’t have anything to do with the incarnation or nativity. The Dutch keep his religious feast day as a day for gift giving and…we transmogrify it into a commerical abomination. We act, the secular world reacts.

      Merry Christmas.

      • Well, Saint Nicholas, at this point, is so distorted by secularism that we might as well treat Santa Claus as a different person.

What nationality is Santa Claus anyway?

        Wait for it
