Is the England that St Augustine Converted Still Christian?

In the Catholic Herald:

Today, being the feast of St Augustine of Canterbury, is a good day for us English-speaking Catholics to remember our origins as a community…

  1. I think there was a time when so-called English Anglicanism truly affected the culture with a kind of English persona. We can see this in the early American history too, and even the early American Methodism, with the Anglican Wesley’s. Note the KJV is seen here also. But it is near gone now, as so-called Great Britain and true Anglicanism! Note even the Monarchy is almost nil in any true Christian since, I say this with great sadness! Does Roman Catholicism really help? Not much in any real regard! We are now in modernity and postmodernity, and post-Christianity! But the Lord God still has His people, “the election of grace”!
