  1. Yes, I have a Knox Bible Translation myself (of course Ronald Knox). Bet ya perhaps knew that? 😉

Btw sadly, however one slices it, the Second Vatican Council has been a pastoral failure overall! Of course its not all bad, but the GS and the NA (save for the Jews), are simply not biblical! And this pope “Francis”, and his Jesuit social gospel speaks for itself! And there is no “kerygma” here! I.e. the Gospel preaching…”to proclaim” Christ Jesus! The Risen, Ascended Jesus, “Yeshua”, the masculine name of the Jewish Messiah, who is also the Savior of both Jews and Gentiles! Who Himself….”For Christ also hath once suffered for sins, the just for the unjust, that He might bring us (the elect) to God, being put to death in the flesh, but quickened by the Spirit.” (1 Peter 3: 18) Both the elect Jews and Gentiles called by God! (1 Cor. 1: 24, KJV)

Thanks be to God, as Paul writes: “For ya see your calling, brethren, how that not many wise men after the flesh, not many mighty, not many noble, are called: but God hath chosen the foolish things of the world to confound the wise; and God hath chosen the weak things of the world to confound the things which are mighty; and the base things of the world, and the things which are despised, hath God chosen, yea, things which are not, to bring to nought things that are: that no flesh should glory in His presence.
But of Him are ye in Christ Jesus, who of God is made unto us wisdom, and righteousness, and sanctification, and redemption: that, according as it is written, “He that glorieth, let him glory in the Lord (Jehovah).” (1 Cor, 1: 26-30, KJV)

Indeed, and surely, “Salvation” is the Lord’s!

Surely the spiritual battle rages on, where and who are preaching the One and True Gospel of Christ? That “Good News” that salvation is Free, i.e. The Gospel of free acceptance and the full liberty ‘In Christ”! As Paul says, “Stand fast therefore… and be not entangled again with the yoke of bondage.” (Gal.5: 1) Yes, the mark of the Christian is peace, freedom and liberty, and from here is God’s mercy, grace and great love!

*Note, lest any think I am being anti-Catholic, it is not so! Even the Catholic Church has taught, and teaches that even “the Church must pass through a final trial that will shake the faith of many believers. The persecution that accompanies her pilgrimage on earth will unveil the “mystery of iniquity” in the form of a religious deception offering men an apparent solution to their problems at the price of apostasy from the truth.” (the CCC page 176, Second Edition, 1994, 1997).

*Of course, the true “elect” cannot be shaken to the core or removed from faith, but remain steadfast even in much weakness! (Lk. 18: 7-8)

Yes, its time to “be” to it! (Note “be”) (Matt. 25: 1-13 / Rom. 13: 11-14) A true of false “Virgin”? (2 Cor. 11: 2-3)
