Priest Furious After Porn Films Shot In Local Parish Church

In the Austrian Times:

A furious Austrian Catholic priest has complained to police after discovering a local woman had apparently been using his church as a studio to make porn films.

The priest had been given an anonymous tip-off to tell him that the videos that had been shot inside his church in Hoersching, a region in Upper Austria, had been uploaded on the internet.

And when the parish priest Father Walter had checked, he was horrified to see the interior being used as the set of the 24-year-old local woman’s porn films.

The videos show the dark-haired woman initially wearing jeans and a white blouse holding a rosary in one hand and the Bible in the other as the house of God is turned into a house of sin.

Local police confirmed that no permission had been requested or given for the church to be used to shoot the movies which apparently happened in June.

The Diocese of Linz said police are still investigating how the crew and actors were able to get into the church.

Those involved may be charged under Section 189 of the Criminal Code, which prohibits creating “mischief” that is liable to cause legitimate nuisance in a church or religious community. If found guilty they could be imprisoned for up to six months or fined.

The parish is also now trying to work out how to reinstate the dignity of the church. “The sacraments which were celebrated in the past few weeks in the parish church are still considered valid,” the diocese said in a statement. But they may still require the local bishop to come and perform a service of purification.

What depravity.

  1. And Jesus is the Savior of Sinners, even sexual sinners, so in this sense no personal sin can betray or remove the “sacraments”! Christ has already destroyed sin, but Satan or the adversary has yet to be fully removed, (Rom. 16: 20). The Battle still rages in this reality, but the enemy is a defeated foe! Would that the Church stood more on this great victory! (Col. 2:13-15) Simply nothing came overcome this!

  2. Sounds like they are doing what they can and should to address this situation. Too bad too many Europeans are such secularists that they are willing to profane the sacred. If only they’d let us conduct prayer services inside their abortuaries! Of course, we aren’t Donatists. And this only involves the church not a member of the clergy. So the shameful unauthorized criminal activity of a non-believer cannot de-sanctify the very essence of consecrated ground.

    • in the ‘spiritual realm’ unholy acts committed on ‘holy ground’ is an invitation for Evil to enter in as well as to ‘mock God’ in the process – even if “unauthorized” or does not ‘involve a member of the clergy”. Not to respond by way of “purification” and re-consecration of this ‘sacred place’ to God is to be complicit in the Evil done–by way of ignorance and complacency; this opens the door to all kinds of disturbances, havoc and chaos in the minds and hearts of the Faithful who come to serve and worship there. The Evil One is most cunning in getting his ‘tail in the door’ and ignorance is no excuse, nor is it bliss!
